San Diego - Temecula- whatever

Well, this isn't really San Diego. When I was planning my trip to LA for Alexander's graduation in May, my friend Marji, one of several women with whom I have been friends since childhood, asked me to spend some time with her while I was out there. She lives in the city of Temecula in the wine country, between LA and San Diego, so I flew out to San Diego earlier in the week to visit with her. Nephew Josh who lives in San Diego picked me up at the airport and drove me to Marji's house.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting her two tortoises, Sherman and Recon, and even fixing their meals and feeding them! We toured the wineries of Temecula. Marji fixed a different delicious Japanese meal every breakfast, lunch, and dinner - presented beautifully each time on different exquisite Japanese dishes!! No pics of the Japanese meals but here's Recon and a winery.

The next day we drove up to LA to the Getty museum and gardens. It was truly spectacular. I won't post all 150 photos I took!

Then we spent the night on the Queen Mary had tours of the ship, explored all the hallways and decks at night. It was a really memorable trip and we drove back to Temecula by dinner time the next day.
